Challenge.
Frocks and Frippery are a small specialist ladies boutique. They had not had a website before and were looking to begin to trade online with initially a small website, but one that offered the ability to expand over time.
Objectives
To produce a clean looking user friendly online store with a professional feel. Frocks and Frippery required the ability to update its products itself using Content Management. In addition it was important that they could cross-promote products especially jewellery to increase sales by displaying matching items of jewellery. This was achieved using our related products module, Hot products and animated image area module on the home page.
Results
A simple but well laid out shop, that offers the clean professional look that Frocks and Frippery were looking for. The site was initially setup with a major card company for secure online processing, but Frocks and Frippery found that many of its orders were coming from outside the UK and that PayPal was a better option for them as a company, so the payment system has been changed to PayPal.
Feedback
Frocks and Frippery were pleasantly surprised to find that the main products they are selling are high value, with no reason to reduce prices for online sales as the products are sometimes difficult to find, especially outside of the UK.
